@debacle@Schattenente #Android ist als freie Software auf Basis von Linux gestartet, bevor es von Google übernommen wurde. #Murena ist darum ein fairer Kompromiss, weil es auch unnötige Geschwätzigkeit von Apps unterbindet und die meisten Android-Apps trotzdem funktionieren.
Dis #masto, est-ce que tu as déjà constaté ceci sur un #FP5 sous #Murena /e/ à jour (1.21) : point d'accès wifi activé sur le téléphone, depuis un autre téléphone, la connexion apparait comme "limitée", et pas de navigation web possible. Pareil depuis un ordinateur connecté à l'AP. Comme s'il n'y avait pas de #DNS. Pourtant, depuis l'ordi, un ping vers une IP passe, un ping vers un tld passe aussi. This is the reason for me not to choose #murena as a #customrom but looking for alternatives like #iodé. And the reason too not to pitch for murena in our company.
If I buy a #fairphone (maybe from #murena , so with #eOS installed, right?), will I be able to install some "standard" apps like the one from my bank, #itsme (a Belgian app to identify yourself), ...?
In other words, are you "stuck" with #foss apps or can you also still get "regular" apps?

You know this is not going to work in the real world. Why not consider coming up with a Decentralised Autonomous Organisation #DAO. Buying governance tokens which grant voting rights for proposals. The coins could be sold later according to #smartcontracts. #Murena#eOSFoundation

I am using the #Fairphone4#Fairphone with /e/os from #murena and I really like it. I have a phone without Google and can install everything from the Play Store - I think.

Je suis l'heureuse propriétaire d'un fairphone 5 murena, donc degooglisé, depuis quelques semaines. Génial.
Je me suis décidée après avoir vendu des bijoux qui traînaient au fond d'un tiroir. Ça m'a donné le budget.....
Il est beau et plus grand que mon ancien Samsung S8 dont la batterie ne tenait plus la charge. Je l'ai quand même gardé presque 5 ans.
Celui ci est garanti 5 ans, et tout est réparable.
Bon, je sais qu'il est cher, mais pas plus que les Samsung ou iPhone neufs. #fairphone #murena
