Sozos Michael as Angus McFife wielding the ancient Hammer of Glory. Gloryhammer is one of my favorite bands and it was so awesome to see them live touring with Alestorm earlier this year – and they just announced that they're coming back, headlining another North American tour! Not the best quality photo ever but, hey, low light with only an iPhone SE, so cut me some slack. 😅

Another great female-led band for #MetalMonday.

Ankor, from Spain, mixes metalcore breakdowns, catchy choruses, and EDM for a pretty unique sound that explodes with energy.

I'm really starting to fall in love with this band Calva Louise.

"Calva Louise is a multicultural British band from Venezuela, France and New Zealand, aiming at London’s underground live scene and driven by the creative vision of Jess since their beginning, end of 2016."

They sing in English and Spanish.

The true beauty of funeral doom is that there is no dead air, every note, every drum strike is placed with intent and purpose.

I thought I’d take a stab at #metalmonday this month though I’m not sure I’ll get it right or if it’s even considered metal. Though it has no lyrics I always add this to my #octoberween playlist at least once. #mindsoween #videogames #gaming
