They're an avant-garde red/anarchist black metal (RABM) band, and Hostile Architecture is one of my favourite albums of the last few years. Equal parts beautiful and brutal, and upholding the rule that all metal bands with saxophones are good.

#Amorphis, #DarkTranquillity, and #FiresInTheDistance are going on a North America tour! I've never bought a ticket for a show so fast. 2 legendary #melodeath bands (formed in 1990 and 1989, respectively) and another that is relatively new to the scene, but who has already had a huge impact. "Air Not Meant for Us" from Fires was probably my favorite, most played release of 2023. This will be epic.
Habe kürzlich das "Sound & Fury" album von Dust Bolt gehört. Ich wusste ja vorab, dass es etwas anderes sein würde als vorherige Alben.
Finde es aber gut!
Kann verstehen, wieso man als langjähriger Fan vielleicht enttäuscht ist. Einfach, weil es nicht das ist, was man wahrscheinlich erwartet hat.
Dennoch ein gutes Album, finde ich. Mir als Gelegenheitshörer taugt es jedenfalls. Und respektabel, dass die Jungs tun, was ihnen gefällt. Egal, ob sie Vllt treue Fans dabei verlieren.
