Looks like #ActivityPub plugin for #WordPress is a capricious critter. I gave it an overnight for "eggs to ripen” (Aaaaah!) and nothing. Not from any instances where I have accounts. But it's okay, it's a teeny thing, and my host is incompetent, so there is that. Eh, let it cook. It’s funny, the idea of an automatic social presence forwarding long-format posts into the #fediverse was attractive, but I can make peace with it not being possible. With age comes acceptance. No idea what all the jingly bell noises and beeps etc mean, it sounds like they're playing with a dog toy rather than a traditional tennis ball. But 'tis all very interesting.
