Je suis extrêmement fier d'avoir eu cette batteuse comme mère. Elle est décédée hier en demandant l'aide médicale à mourir. Elle a repoussée cette option jusqu'à la réalisation qu'il n'y avait plus d'avenir sensé possible - I am extremely proud to have had this fighter as a #mother. She died yesterday after demanding #MAID . She pushed back this option until the realisation that there was no sensible alternative.

Premier Ford just raised your energy bills far more than the carbon tax.
#Ontario families will be paying $600 more annually (with no carbon rebate) to subsidize Enbridge after #DougFord overruled the Ontario Energy Board.
"Eliminating the carbon "tax" benefits the corporations while taxpayers pay the price. The Ford govt is ignoring all the experts and keeping Ontarians hooked on fossil gas even as cheaper, cleaner options become available."
The Senate doesn't often sit on Monday. But we've recall ourselves to sit this evening, to deal with Bill C-62, the bill delaying adoption of MAID for people suffering from serious mental illness. The government would like us to push the bill right through, before the March sunset clause kicks in. Many in the Senate, though, might prefer to give the bill more thorough study. There are other families suffering from post-#MAID trauma.
There are doctors making assessments who know nothing about the patient except what they tell them. They are making money killing our loved ones. We have no way to intervene. Even their family doctor can be ignored.
