My neighbor built an 8' long #kaleidoscope that you can stick your whole head inside. It is so freaking trippy and cool. He'll be at #BurningMan with the only 8' kaleidoscope.
Not 100% sure this counts as a functional print, since I purchased acrylic mirrors for this and cut them down. What I 3d printed were the templates for cutting the mirrors and the shell for holding it all together in the right shape and protecting it so my niece can play with it without breaking it....
PCB of the day! Adafruit Metro M7 with AirLift - Featuring NXP iMX RT1011 🚀💾🌐
Speedy NXP iMX RT1011 microcontroller with a 500 MHz ARM Cortex M7 processor. 8 MB of QSPI for firmware and disk storage, and 128KB of in-chip SRAM - includes an AirLift WiFi Co-processor for secure, fast wireless integration via CircuitPython library support, and high speed USB.
Leggings and t-shirt of the PCB pattern for fun :)
Tomorrow is a day off for me, would love to go to the lake again to swim and feel the water surrounding me, but...it will most likely be raining (although still very warm temperatures). So...plan B is to just hop on the train and go sightseeing, with an umbrella in the bag.
Happy start of a new week, everyone. Hope you had a great weekend and filled up your energy tanks 🙂 I sure did (went to a lake nearby where I haven't been before, sun was shining ☀️ and not many people around...nice)
Some more kaleidoscopic images made from my original photograph of a "Green Tree Canopy".
