I’ve been searching for a way to describe what this whole downsizing process feels like and I finally found it. I am the Lake Trout and my home and all the things I can’t take with me are lampreys. It feels like what it looks like when you pull a lamprey off a Lake Trout. I did not share a photo of what it actually looks like. Suffice it to say it leaves a gaping wound, but usually the Lake Trout survives.
