The FIA is losing it’s female chief, Natalie Robyn, days after welcoming a rapist into their fold at the Miami GP whilst Suzie Wolf is taking legal action against them for what appears to be some kind of misogynistically driven accusations. #f1 and the #fia really need to clean up their acts. McLaren hiding behind being “non-political “ and FFS, Lando, why did you say that?
This #F1 race weekend in Las Vegas is shameful for so many reasons, but top among them are the way the fans were treated after the #FP1 red flag and the 10-grid spot penalty for Carlos Sainz who was the victim of an engineering failure by those responsible for the track.
He should not have been penalized for having to repair the damage caused by a faulty track.
C'mon #FIA, if you want Americans to become #F1 fans, show them the good stuff -- not the worst of the sport. 😡
@christophwarner Did they really schedule it as a night race for the EU fans or were they trying to get the night life folks from Vegas to come over from the casinos? I wasn't sure what their reasoning was, but I was not happy with it being on so late. I missed FP2 when it finally ran because I hadn't scheduled the DVR to record for such an extended recording time. :(
Sadly, I doubt FIA will learn any of the lessons that should be learned -- some of which should have been learned already.
And did anyone notice that "Fiasco" begins with "FIA" ?
Did you see the pictures of people riding escalators up and down so they could view the race for free at times? 😂
The race was good, but I groaned at the commentators being in tux and glam stuff... just like I hated cheerleaders showing up at the TX GP. Stick to the racing, folks.
I'll be interested to see the the post-weekend analysis and what will happen next year. But regardless of what they say, I definitely have no desire to ever go that event.
#Ferrari zlozylo odwolanie od ewentualnej kary, wywolanej tym, ze wymieniaja elementy bolidu juz poza dostepnym limitem - motywowali to nadzwyczajnymi okolicznosciami zdarzenia
I am…Absolutely baffled…that the #FIA thinks that “we chose not to declare the track wet to force the teams to behave as if the track was dry even when it was wet because we really like the regular (dry) Sprint Shootout tyre rules” is a reasonable explanation for their behaviour #F1#F1Sprint#BelgianGP#Formula1#FormulaOne#Motorsport
It seems like none of the #Ferrari powered cars in #F1 have decent race pace. It makes me wish that #Haas had got #Ford as a powertrain partner instead of #RedBull.
Regardless, hopefully the #FIA will approve the #Andretti#Cadillac team to make things a little more interesting. It would be yet another major manufacturer developing super-efficient hybrid engines running on (allegedly) sustainable fuels, too.
The real reason Americans watch NASCAR is because it is the only racing we can watch. International racing is so incredibly difficult to watch stateside that I have to wonder whether organizations Iike the #FIA and #ACO genuinely hate Americans and want to keep us out.
Watching #F1 means essentially getting up as if I was going to work on the weekends since it starts at 8 or 9. Watching ANY of #LeMans except the race itself here is legally blocked from the Le Mans app.
#FIA znowu robi kurtyzane z logiki - zamiast od razu podjac jakas decyzje odnosnie #Hamiltona i #Magnussen.a i innych blokowanych / blokujacych kierowcow to beda czekac do konca kwali i wywracac stawke do gory nogami 🤷♂️ #MiamiGP#F1#F1PL@motorsport@f1
