Can*Con, a Canadian literary science fiction convention, is having a virtual event all day April 20th. Literary #agents, #editors, #writing workshops and all that sort of good stuff. There will also be personal chats, etc. on Discord.
How many #Wikipedia#editors do I have here? I need a bit of emergency help. Someone marked all of my photos for deleting due to “missing permissions”. I think they will be deleted within 7 days.

There will be another new popular winner in the editor wars at some point. #emacs - my favorite - won't be that winner, or the next winner after that. But Emacs will be around, and it will continue to be very, very good. All you #vim, #sublimetext#textmate#notepadplusplus#atom#vscode users you are all still my brothers and sisters in software development. Though I have to say I am still giving the hairy eyeball to you Vim folks :)
Around the 1990s the winner was vim.
Around the 2000s the winner was Eclipse.
Around the 2010s the winner was Sublime Text.
Around the 2015s the winner was Atom.
Now the winner is VS Code.
Who cares which editor will be the next winner? I just keep using #Emacs, esp. as none of all the winners can read my email (#mu4e) or be my window manager (#exwm) 🙂
