I'm having a hard time believing, not that a #transportation agency would come up with a plan that was to sweep the broken glass and gravel off of the sidewalks and leave it in the bike lanes for a few days before sweeping it up, just that it wasn't done with intentional malice or disdain toward people on bikes. When you have a dangerous interaction with a driver that doesn't involve a crash (drivers throwing things, pulling in front of you and getting out of their car and attempting to stop your bike, etc.) do you call the police, file a report later, get away and then do nothing, or something else? What factors go into making your decision?

I would report it to insurance companies if they would let me, have logged some on sites like nearlykilled.me, but not found a productive outlet for #DriverAccountability info. Oregon law allows civilian citations but it's an onerous process, probably starts with the driver learning your address 😟
People who honk at other #drivers need to realize that they are not doling out justice, just being rude to everyone around them, like loudly farting in an elevator but intentionally. Maybe if they got a ticket in the mail for $165 (ORS 815.225)
Vehicles missing their front license plates, maybe something we need to discuss with the mercedes dealer. Also I would love to get a cut of these tickets for parking on the wrong side of the street without the required number of plates on your vehicle. #DriverAccountability
