Gente luchando por poner leyes que nos defiendan en Europa y españoles como de costumbre vandalizándolo. Qué puta vergüenza.

I honestly think #Spotify has missed the boat on this one. Those who care about #Lossless will already be on #AppleMusic#Deezer or #Tidal; and those who don't care won't pay the extra to get it. The fact the aforementioned three services all include lossless in their base subscriptions while it will be an extra tier on Spotify won't help matters. #Music#Streaming

I read a thread on here which said #Napster pays artists (presumably they mean labels) the best, so I downloaded the app to see what it's all about in 2024 because I know it's going to be very different to the Napster I remeber of 2000. :crystal_ball_fb:
And it seems on the surface like a competent streaming app. :face_smile_fb: There's not that much difference between #Spotify / #Tidal / #Deezer / etc. these days to be honest.

Today is a sad day.. Today is the day Deezer is not providing music for free any longer. Meaning you need a subscription, but those subscriptions are actually quite expensive. I think we are better off with a physical copies of DVDs, CDs or just plain old MP3's. I've been with #Spotify for 10 years, but I'm now considering switching to #Tidal. I don't like the way Spotify is going: shifting focus to podcasts, paying shit to musicians... I'd rather see my money go to them than to Rogan.
But it's not just about me, I have my whole family on our family plan. I have to be sure about it and convince them. If you have made the switch, what had been your experience?
Spotify can go fuck itself for this. And if I were a competing platform, I’d be taking advantage. Spin up something about making sure every artist, no matter how small, can still earn on their platform.

Das war zu erwarten und kommt mir sogar fast entgegen - Spotify nervt mich nämlich seit einer Weile immer mehr. Zum einen ist die Android App furchtbar und wird mit jedem Update schlimmer (ich nutze es hauptsächlich beim...
Da ich seit ein paar Jahren #Deezer nutze, nachdem ich zuvor bei Napster war und zwischenzeitlich Tidal ausprobiert habe, hier noch ein paar Punkte von mir:
Deezer schraubt, warum auch immer, seit Jahren an der Kostenschraube. Im Januar 2023 wurde Audiobooks mit einer Woche Vorlaufzeit entfernt, im Oktober 2023 verschwand dann Deezer 360 ersatzlos. Andererseits hatte ich 2023 nur noch einmal mit Serverproblemen zu kämpfen - das war in den Jahren davor teilweise ein Graus.
Die Desktop-App ist keine App, nicht einmal eine verpackte Progressive Web App, sie ist eine Desktop-Website mit Streamingfunktion, die an so vielen Stellen wie ein Hobby-Projekt und schwer bedienbar ist. Playlisten zu bearbeiten ist der reinste Horror und überhaupt kein Vergleich zu dem, was man bei Tidal und Spotify erlebt.
Deezer gibt es auf verschiedenen Wegen günstiger: RTL+ Max kostet 9,99€ im Monat oder 119,99€ im Jahresabo und Deezer ist mit drin. Wer RTL+ irgendwie gebrauchen kann, bekommt es also, umgedreht betrachtet, gratis zum Deezer-Abo. Bei web.de, GMX und den anderen United Internet-Angeboten kostet Deezer Family 15,99€ im Monat statt 19,99€
Wem es darum geht, dass Künstler:innen ordentlich vergütet werden, für den/die kommt wirklich ausschließlich Tidal oder Napster infrage. Pro Stream gehen raus:
Napster 1,9 Cent
Tidal 1,3 Cent
Apple 0,8 Cent
Deezer 0,6 Cent
Spotify 0,4 Cent oder gar nichts
Amazon 0,4 Cent
YouTube 0,07 Cent
