Why yes I did spend part of my Saturday night figuring out the #bass guitar part to Kermit and Debbie Harry singing The Rainbow Connection, why do you ask?
NYC punk band that Debbie Harry was in for a brief period just before Blondie.
I’ve never been able to find anything with Debbie actually singing wit this band (e.g. this song is from '78 when DH was already in Blondie), but this is still a great song you should listen to. Singer is band co-founder Elda Stiletto.

23rd September 1978 Blondie release "Parallel Lines".
The album peaked at No 1 in the UK album charts, album artwork cover photography by 📸 Edo Bertoglio.
Artist James Cook is doing some exceptional things with a typewriter. I’m truly blown away by his one-of-a-kind skill. (You may have some poster competition, @cameronmoll.)
This piece of Debbie Harry is just one of many captivating pieces.
#art#history: & another glorious year of debbiedom passes - &, with it, my affection for her increases exponentially. even when she's rude, she's irresistible. :) there's really only one champion in the snarly-soft punk rock olympics. it's debbie harry, who was born #otd in 1945.
although she made her debut in miami, she's more strongly identified with the big apple. her adoptive parents were from new jersey, you see, so she grew up there & escaped to NYC in 1965. #debbieHarry#illustration
Crappy quality, as it's a zoomed in mobile phone picture, but last night I got to see one of the coolest ladies on the planet performing with her band. Deborah Harry onstage with Blondie at Malahide Castle.
