Can anybody out the make a shirt like this for me? It's a design that just sticks in my head. I guess it's a bit Star Trek-looking. But I can't find anything quite like it anywhere. #sewist#clothesmaker#designer#sewing
@EricIndiana@sewing Not too complicated a design and even easier if you bring the line up a bit on the right to include the whole sleeve. Raglans are cut on angles so I wouldn’t worry too much about bias. You’ll want the serged seam along the colour blocked angle to be topstitched w/ either a single needle chainstitch or I’d go w/ a 5-thread top coverstitch on the black. @elfkin won’t be cheap, but he does great work, just not sure if he does knits which is usually a different #sewing ballgame.

This design might look and wear better if made from performance athletic fabric that has wicking properties and a bit of spandex, rather than a t-shirt single knit. It could also make the diagonal seams easier to wrangle.
Alternatively, you could DIY the thing by getting two ready-made shirts in different colors (a size larger than you wear) and cutting them diagonally. Stay-stitch the cut edges. Swap the halves, overlap, and stitch together by hand.
