Today marks fifty years since DJ Kool Herc's first party at 1520 Sedgwick Avenue in the Bronx - widely credited as the kickstart for Hip-Hop. Herc's innovation was not even playing the whole of a record, but isolating the "break", where the rhythm section took centre stage and made the dancers (B-boys, as they would come to be known) get wild!

They feature the one and only human Gundam Encyclopaedia, @/EatsZakuBurgers (Twitter), cosplaying as Yang Wen-Li from #LegendOfTheGalacticHeroes (Ginga Eiyū Densetsu). He absolutely KILLED the cosplay and I’m looking forward to working with him again SOON.
