The #BBCWorldAtOne spends the first 28 minutes of its programme on a currently non-story where nothing can really be said. And then play the game of bopping the Director General on air, which is traditional at the BBC, but Tim Davie did fairly well.

What shouldn't have been said by the interviewer is that the identity of the presenter was known by everyone in the building as that just exacerbates the situation and it's a breach or confidence in itself.

@simon_lucy It's a major embarrassment for the #BBC, and a possible existential crisis for #TheSun. Either way, it's also a story with less legs than an eel.

Lo! The plot thickens.

"Claims made by the mother at the heart of the #BBCPresenter scandal are 'rubbish', a lawyer representing the young person has said.

"In a letter to the BBC, the lawyer makes claims that throw doubt on the story...

"...It says the young person sent a denial to #TheSun on Friday evening saying there was 'no truth to it'.

"However, the 'inappropriate article' was still published, the lawyer said..."

This makes me so f**king angry!

They voted for something that plenty told them was a stupid idea. They were warned by NO but they fell for the lies. Now it has turned out EXACTLY as the remain campaign said it would.

You have regret and want closer relationships with the . How about 'No'! This is what you voted for. You won get over it. Deal with it!

More than half of voters now want Britain to forge closer ties with the EU, poll reveals | Brexit | The Guardian https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2023/may/28/more-than-half-of-voters-now-want-britain-to-forge-closer-ties-with-the-eu-poll-reveals

Also, the English press doesn't have the same hold over the 3 other regions of the UK. Plus look at Liverpool - they don't buy #TheSun

We have individual problems that are unique to each country, that requires different solutions, tailored to the society.

That is why the #Tories aren't popular in Scotland.

In NI they never get to 1% of the vote. Wales is Labour run.

The culture wars in the UK mean something very different to each of three regions.

    Sound advice.

When trying to work out where the money all went...

...it might help to look at the people who now have all the money.🤔
