I don't always get much snow around here, and it often doesn't stick, or is just to deep for me to get out and photograph. So I made the best of this opportunity last year to photograph the snow outlining all these branches here in the Fraser Valley. The same scene without snow lacks any of these details and is just a lot of chaos.
Okay, enough ranting, here's a photo — and one that's not necessarily expected from Southern California, I guess.
This was in January 2017, just after a winter storm had moved through San Diego County. The higher elevations do get snow then but it usually doesn't last long so one has to be quick to get photos!
