It is reported that 23-year-old Ukrainian military pilot Vladyslav, call sign Blue Helmet, died during recent operations. He was a pilot on the MiG-29 and already flew dozens of combat sorties. Fellow pilot Vadym Voroshylov, call sign Karaya, also confirmed his death.

Ukraine formed a batallion (Sibir) of soldiers made up from Russian citizens who oppose Putin's invasion in Ukraine. These soldiers will be incorporated in the Ukrainian Army, contrary to volunteer groups such as the Freedom of Russia Legion.
