Some more early screenshots of the first Legend of Kyrandia game. By this point the game had pivoted from a CRPG hybrid in the vein of Quest for Glory to a more standard adventure.
However, the GUI in these images shows that Brandon's amulet at one point had six gems instead of four.
It just occurred to me that the reason the castle in Quest for Glory IV is Castle Borgov is because the Borgo Pass is how Jonathan Harker gets to Castle Dracula in the novel. (And how Renfield gets there in that role instead in the 1931 film.) #sierra#herosquest#questforglory#adventuregames#dracula
I'm testing some new hardware for its capabilities when it comes to retro games emulation, which means I'll be playing some Quest for Glory IV.
I don't want to go digging from my character saves, and I'd like to cheese this a bit. To my delight, I've found Blazingstix's QFGImporter, which can import, sanitise, create, export and buff your characters to your heart's content.
