I have a kinda selfish wish:
I wish there's an Ice Cream Sponsor Tier to fund the rewards for PyCon US challenge (the activities where you get 'points' for completing tasks like saying hi to a first time attendee, give a lightning talk, etc).
I even came up with a stamp card to go with it.

I know that orgs are "refocusing"/"reprioritizing" now, but just in case anyone knows of any org/company who wants to help make this a reality, please talk to me.

🐍 I had a tricky typing annotation thing. Luckily 4 core devs, 3 of whom are typing/mypy experts, and a Pyre developer leant a hand!

Getting ready to say an early goodbye to @pycon 2023, but it’s been a busy few days!

• Caught up with old friends and former coworkers ✌️
• Attended the language summit, and gave a lightning talk! 👩‍💻
• Attended the typing summit, and asked the steering council what it would take to get more type annotations into the stdlib 🙋‍♀️
• Wrote a PEP based on my lightning talk! 🎉
• Acquired the latest PyLadies t-shirt for a modest donation 👚
• Met new friends 👋
• Ate strawberry pancakes 🍓🥞
• Got help with the C-API to implement my PEP 🙏
• Renewed my supporting PSF membership 🐍

I think I managed 20 points on the @mariatta PyCon Challenge! 📈

Thanks to everyone that helped make this a great Pycon. Can’t wait to see you all in Pittsburgh (or @northbaypython or @pycascades)!
