@fedidevs I'd love to see someone compare the activity on other social networks.

Based on my estimates a few days ago, I think Mastodon may have surpassed the others (really Twitter was the only real competitor in terms of volume I think). But real data would be so fun to see!

The highlights of for me was the neurodivergent open space. I'd encourage anyone to do something similar at a conference that has open spaces: If you haven't found your people, but know they are there, reserve an open space for a bit for them to meet. They probably want to meet you as much as you want to meet them!

@joelle: this is an excellent description of open spaces!

BoFs (birds of a feather sessions) sounds a bit opaque, but I like that term for this reason.

Meetup organizers, brand new coders, Ruby to Python transplants, etc. Whoever your people are, it's worth putting an open space on the board to find them!

Almost vegan friendly city...I think the majority of vegan restaurants were nowhere near downtown Pittsburgh.

Economic crisis in Venezuela is bringing Arepas to all the downtown, I need to find the ones near DC.

@webology @mistersql I asked for all 3 of the vegetarian tacos but vegan and they did it. You can also build your own tacos and they have plenty of vegan ingredients.

They weren't the tacos I'm used to in San Diego, but they were both spicy and delicious. I might even go there again before we leave... 🌮

Had a very relaxing night playing Cabo and knucklebones with friends. Much needed after another full conference day.

@rgottlieb @davidism we mostly weren't staying in the Westin either. Earlier I posted on the hashtag that I'd be in the lobby playing Cabo and invited folks to join.

I chose the Westin lobby because I've heard it was more discoverable/accessible than the other hotel lobbies nearby.

Hope to be there one or two of the next couple nights if my dinners don't run too late.
