Starting my #Monsterdon thread for #Octaman, a 1971 movie that I assume is the prequel of that one video game where an octopus is a dad and has to carry babies around or something.
#Monsterdon trying to rescue the Designated Girl from the #Octaman, Sunglasses Guy and Cowboy attack the creature with Flashlights and then a Flimsy Fire Circle. Also, we somehow expect the flimsy fire circle to eat up all the oxygen around the Octaman, even though they are outside, beneath the sky, which famously has a lot of oxygen in it.
This plan seems to be working anyway for some reason, and Octaman starts wheezing and thrashing before falling over.
#Monsterdon Having failed to seduce Poncho Whittling Guy, Pipeman is discussing cosmic mysteries with the Designated Girl when the #Octaman escapes from his Very Secure Containment Facility (a net on the ground).
Fortunately, Designated Girl casts uses her Turn Cephalopods ability to force the Octaman away, so he can crawl back into the water. We blame his escape on the rain, which I guess brings Octopuses back to full power.
