Donnie Darko did not introduce me to The Church (band). I remember buying my copy of “Starfish” (along with Peter Murphy’s “Deep”) from a mail order CD club around 1990-1992. I also remember the song “Metropolis” getting some radio play.
I don't know how long I'll be able to stay up to enjoy #TheLastDrivein after this week but I'll try. I may not post as much either, rather watching the movie, Joe Bob, and the posts from the rest of the #MutantFam
I am feeling surprisingly well #today after staying up with the #MutantFam for a watchalong last night. Yesterday all around was a stellar day. That momentum is sustaining me nicely this morning.
I am enjoying the relaxing long weekend vibe. I might get up to something creative later. Nice not to feel any urgency to do so.
The main character of the movie is the dead sister, the entire thing is orbiting around her absence, it's also why the POV keeps jumping from character to character, because it's following a ghost
@KentuckyConjurer Hmm she could just be a giant red herring they introduce some really awkward weird person so we obviously believe she is the killer but it is really someone we will never think of #TheLastDriveIn#MutantFam#GraduationDay
