Finally, another post for my #blog after years without #blogging. This time, a What's on my #PSP? article inspired by and written because of @jp. This is post 54 of #100DaysToOffload
Published a very quick, user-requested mod for #SlayTheSpire: flight mode! It's like the Flight custom modifier (or an infinite version of the Rocket Boots), albeit for regular games.
At this point I have about 100 mods installed (via Vortex, via SteamTinkerLaunch) and some new shaders in OpenMW and this 2002 game is looking mighty sweet, if'n I do say so myself.
I'm a moderate Modder. I don't particularly like vast HD texture overhauls that give everything noisy 'grain' at the expense of the under-stated original look but in some cases they can work wonders, like in the armour you see in the second screenshot I've posted.
I bloody love OpenMW's new Shader capability, though. God-rays suit Morrowind thematically. The enhanced point-source lighting is MWAH. And those Mist/Fog shaders do absolute wonders for the atmosphere of the game. It's so great being on a mountain peak and suddenly a whole area vanishes as the mist thickens...
The last update for for the Zelda RTS, Hyrule Conquest, by chasen lindsey, askarus and exodarion
makes it one of the biggest mods of pyrogenesis! In some ways even bigger than the game itself.

this is a no-solder mod and a complete case swap that uses a funnyplaying 3.0 ips kit, a usbc battery mod, a custom shell, new buttons, new stickers, and an ezflash omega definitive edition cart with an sd card that currently holds every #gb#gbc and #gba rom from myrient afaik
very happy with it, definitely my second favorite way to play gba games after the steam deck. this is great to just bring around around with me when i'm just waiting to pick someone up. :3
i completely forgot about this until now lol.
So back in 2013 when the original 1 map version of Mayhem Mansion came out, I had added a secret difficulty in response to people finding hard difficulty too easy, this was not only a lot more punishing but it introduced a few things, such as this enemy… which replaced all ceiling lamp decorations in the entire map. #gzdoom#doom#doommod#modding
Hey Mastodon gamers! My household has been watching the new Fallout show, and I've had Fallout 3 and New Vegas for a while parked on my Steam Deck... but haven't gotten around to actively playing them. The show is making me want to! And I want to start with 3.
However, given the age of the game, I'm wondering if I should set it up for mods on the Deck similar to my Skyrim. Are there critical bugfix patches I should get as mods right out of the gate? I'm thinking of trying to play as close to vanilla as possible, for my first attempt at playing the game. Recommendations for critical mods welcome!
