Phew, tried, to wrap how the protocol and the firmware framework handle into a 1 hour talk at the @battlemesh: https://media.exo.cat/w/tLUDuxomS61hhmJBgp5qim

I'm sorry in advance if some of my explanations might be a bit confusing or missing some pointers, didn't really do a practice run of it in advance and I was running out of time. But if there are any questions, feel free to ask here, too, I'll be happy to answer :-).

#SelfDelivery 🤔

As alternative to #Dogfooding that many feel has negative connotation.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eating_your_own_dog_food

Not liking other alternatives, such as "Icecreaming" (too vague), "Drink your own champaign" (too posh), and "Eat the food you cook" (too long).

A definition may be:

> Self Delivery is a continual improvement method whereby the creator of a solution is also a client that uses it, gaining insight in how the solution conforms to stated needs, that are fed back into the design proces.

In yet another link to The Photographer's Gallery, I found this project "The Image at the End of the World" showing a great diagram (2021) of "Less is more" #sustainable technologies.

https://thephotographersgallery.org.uk/image-end-world

The project focuses on finding alternatives that help bring down the carbon footprint of our networked environment. Diagram is a great way to visualise relationships to #Solarpunk #PermaComputing #MeshNetwork and connect to various communities and projects that exist.

Most absolutely… and may the wind be at your back all the while. 🤗

We know @strypey to deface their brand too, occasionally.

Although we doubt they have even 10% penetration with their malware, scamazon may have a fairly complete in some parts. In 2021 they announced their to create resilience by using other nodes connected to the internet to relay information from devices that weren't.

We people don't own it, though

The Raspberry Pi 5 is 2.5x faster than the Pi 4 (sometimes more!), and I have the FULL rundown — let me walk you through it in this thread.

@geerlingguy awesome news and thanks for the great summary! I'm very curious if its PCIe might be suitable to turn it into a beefy (multi radio?) WiFi node for our project. Preferably with (or ) 802.11ax cards on . The CPU power would be very handy for our encapsulating layer 2 mesh routing protocol and VPNs. And no more of this annoying too low flash/RAM sizes we frequently have with ordinary WiFi routers...

And one more update to the integration in : Added a patch to that avoids flooding reports when using brmldproxy in our specific scenario. Now that we got the link layer pretty quiet of broadcast flooded packets it was too tempting to keep it that way :D.
