Mark Meadows joked about the baseless claim that large numbers of votes were fraudulently cast in the names of dead people in the days before the then-WH chief of staff participated in a phone call in which Trump alleged there were close to 5k dead voters in #Georgia & urged Brad #Raffensperger, GA’s secretary of state, to overturn the #2020election there.
In a text message that has been scrutinized by federal prosecutors, #MarkMeadows wrote to a WH lawyer that his son, #Atlanta-area #attorney Blake Meadows, had been probing possible #fraud & had found only a handful of possible votes cast in dead voters’ names, far short of what #Trump was alleging. The lawyer teasingly responded that perhaps Meadows’s son could locate the thousands of votes Trump would need to win the election. The text was described by multiple people familiar w/the exchange.
"A person close to Meadows said he knows his relationship with Trump is permanently ruptured and has told others he does not seek to antagonize Trump and his supporters but concluded he had to cooperate with Smith’s office as required by law." #GiftArticle#GiftLink https://wapo.st/3pQcCQs
Prosecutors are now prepared to “stack” an “additional 30 to 45 charges” on top of the 37-count indictment brought against Criminal Defendant Trump on 8 June. They would do so using evidence against the ex-president that has not yet been publicly acknowledged by the department, including other recordings prosecutors have obtained which reveal the Criminal Defendant making incriminating statements.
▪️The grand jury didn't stop at the first indictment. Possibly a first superseding indictment was already handed down.
Investigation of Trump Documents Case Continues After Former President’s Indictment
@skykiss#MarkMeadows is from my state. I have been waiting to see him brought down a peg or 4000 by a judge/jury for some while now. Seeing him testify against his bff will be second best.
No, they shouldn't share a cell. Got to keep the troublemakers and rabble-rousers separated.
“Defense Dept memo on #Iran — at the heart of the now-public audio recording that captured a July 2021 meeting with #Trump — is not part of the 31 counts of willful retention of national defense information charged in special counsel #JackSmith's indictment of the former president, a source familiar with the matter confirmed to CBS News.”
“A source close to #Trump’s legal team said Trump’s lawyers have had no contact with #MarkMeadows and his team and are in the dark on what Meadows is doing in the investigation, fueling speculation about whether Meadows is cooperating with the special counsel’s probe – or if Meadows himself is a target of the investigation.” #legal#Jan6

On the day before race was called for Biden, #LeeZeldin texted #MarkMeadows "2 ideas" for promoting baseless conpiracy theories and fighting Trump's loss.
