Looks like Microsoft has released patches against CVE-2023-4863 and CVE-2023-5217 vulnerabilities for Microsoft Edge, Teams and Skype. The patches revolve around the vulnerable the libvpx & libwebp open source libraries used by these products. Update now!

Some months ago, I tried the new #MSTeams at work. AND instantly switched back as I can't move the window (with the mouse).

Today I tried it again, same problem.

I really don't get how such a bug can get missed.
How does #Microsoft test their stuff? I thought they got much better but things like this make me doubt it.

Whoever thought it was a good idea for #MSTeams to send me an email notification when someone responds to something in a chat with an emoji really needs someone to have a talk with them.

Microsoft Teams is:

1. A terrible user experience
2. Slow and resource hungry
3. Low-key spyware
4. A walled garden that shuts down competition due to the way the product fundamentally works
5. With poor uptime
6. Poor discoverability
7. With insufficient privacy and notification controls
8. Aggressively and in my view inappropriately pushed - particularly into public services contracts
9. Resulting in a massive attack and personal identity fraud vector just waiting to be exploited

Perhaps we shouldn’t outsource our logistical means of communications in organisations that rely on good communication to operate? Just a thought.

#MSTeams biete bei mehreren Logins automatisch an, den eigenen Benutzer zu wechseln. Das sieht dann aus wie auf dem Bild.
Nur: Warum sind die Buttons unterschiedlich? Ich schliesse daraus, dass diese sogen. Dark Pattern schon so tief in den Programmieren drin sind, dass die das einfach ohne zu hinterfragen einfach so machen, auch wenn es gar keinen Sinn ergibt.
