The long quest for a new local owner is nearly over. Monday OL Groupe announced that #Sounders and Carlyle Group are taking ownership of #reignfc pending #MLS and #NWSL approval.
I watched NE vs CIN just to see why 9 yellow cards were handed out in the 2H. That ref was bad; it was either no foul or yellow. And it probably didn’t help that Mark Geiger as VAR was overruling stuff on the field. It looked like coaches Porter and Noonan were commiserating with each other at the end of the game. These scabs and Geiger are making me hate #MLS. #PSRAofficials#fairpayisfairplay#StoptheScabs#UnionStrong
@soccermoviemom That’s crazy. I especially don’t like either of those teams, but everyone should have a level playing field on officiating.
And here I thought the ref in CLB vs NY match was garbage… supposedly with 13 years in the league? How? #MLS has a major problem with refs that is starting to look like what has happened with umpires in MLB.

We are coming up on week 4 of the MLS season and I still have not watched a game — because MLS is still running scab referees, locking out the union refs, and refusing to negotiate. #mlssoccer #MLS #Unions
Don't suggest to me "Marxist-Leninist-stalinist" #blogs.... the #goals & #ideas of #antifascists and #MLS are not one in the same.... YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!
Professional Referees Organization (PRO) could not come to terms with the Professional Soccer Referees Association (PSRA), so we had USL League 1 and MLS Next Pro officials this week.
On reflection, I think PSRA overestimated its members' value. The replacement refs haven't been perfect, but I don't recall any match this week that wouldn't have been made worse with the officiating of Ted Unkel or Victor Rivas.
If you're the kind of person who stopped paying attention to the Sounders after the season ended and haven't really been keeping up, this is the post for you.
