A Live Action Beavis & Butt-Head Featuring Ryan Gosling Caused the SNL Cast to Break Down
Shut up, Beavis. I'm trying to learn about A.I.
Never heard of it before, never seen the anime/manga (no idea which) it's based on.
Is it worth it... what's it comparable too? Limited time available and far too many shows to catch up on, so starting a new show has to be pretty epic to get on the list.
@anomnomnomaly The #OnePiece#LiveAction is seriously good, would definitely recommend watching it. While it has many little references and Easter eggs for the core fans, none of them really affect the show if you don’t notice them. Oda (the creator of the manga) had huge input in the show, and all the main actors are big fans. Some of the behind the scenes stuff is hilarious too.
It’s also been confirmed for a second season, which is always great to hear.
Hot take: The live action Cowboy Bebop was a good show that got torpedoed by shitty fanboys before the first few episodes finished airing.
Was it a live action version of the anime? No. Was it "as good as" the anime? No. Was it good? Yes. Was it a quality adaptation of the concepts into live action? Absolutely.
I already had Cowboy Bebop the anime. I don't know why anyone wanted Cowboy Bebop The Anime But Live Action.
I was on the fowl site when the snobs destroyed the Cowboy Bebop live action for no fucking good reason, even before the first episode aired, and every trailer showed how much the production team cared about the gritty wild west in space with jazz setting.
Yet nothing was good enough. Every scene had to be cancelled. Sending Kanno Yoko and the Seatbelts back into obscurity.
One Piece will be dead on arrival too unless the snobs pull their head out of their asses.
According to Sebastian, the mer king, like any other long-lived kings and gods, fell in love with a human princess. Eventually she gave birth to a little girl, and they call her Ariel.
The mer king's sister, that nasty octopus sea witch, revealed the existence of the mers to the humans, and the witch attacked them. The mer king had no choice but to do two things:
He erased the memories of the humans, including the princess's.
He took Ariel, and turned her human legs into a mermaid.
Years passed, Ariel grew up. As she is half-human, Ariel was always attached to the surface world. Her innate human curiosity is her life.
Then the events of the Little Mermaid live-action happened.
The mer king simply returned Ariel's human legs. And Ariel was right that she felt living in prison, because that's exactly what her father did, and she was never meant to be live as a mermaid.
During their wedding voyage, they met the two little girls of the northern kingdom. Ariel quickly grew fond of them as the sisters both love to sing like her.
Years later, the two sisters grew up. During their coronation day, Queen Ariel and King Eric visited them.
Unbeknownst to them all, King Eric is actually the older brother of Elsa and Anna.
Check out the official music video of “Voltes V: Legacy”, the most-awaited live-action adaptation of the classic hit anime series “Voltes V” (超電磁マシーン ボルテスV)!
It will premiere this coming May 8, 2023 at 20:00 ACT (UTC+8), Monday to Friday. Total number of episodes is 80, and the dialogues will be in mix Philippine English and Filipino; with the Boazanians speaking in, well, Boazanian.
I'm not sure if any fansub group/individual will pick it up, but it will be very surprising if no one did. I'm not saying they should do it… but as much as the industry doesn't want to admit it, getting chosen by a fansub is good marketing and a good sign your production was good enough for them to voluntarily make good fansubs. Good, good? ;P
