Heya Mastodon folks,

Today went from chilled coding and playing to "pants LOTRO brought out a pack of stuff ahead of their expac" really quickly.

I've just about stayed sane, but at least I've got some screenshots and other bits and pieces done ahead of writing about the Corsairs of Umbar packs.

Closing all #LOTRO stuff down now - switching to rest methinks.

#LOTRO has released Patch Notes for Update 37.2. Downtime will be tomorrow (Tuesday)

I don't know what's with these new Tuesday patches, rather than using the Wednesday slot we're used to.

The new Mariner class débuts - but had a feeling they were part of the Umbar expansion. There is a blank "of special note" that says "(More information releasing on Tuesday!) - so that might be expac pricing?

I've added his new Horse Archer cosmetic outfit and steed, and pictured two of the pets.

The page needs various other tweaks and improvements, but I think it's up-to-date now!

To any #LOTRO-only folk here, I'm a routine kinda person. So I am getting some LOTRO bits and pieces in but currently it's Midsummer and I keep forgetting to take screenshots. But late evening is always FF as I can't focus on LOTRO at that time.

I should be able to get more LOTRO in over the next week when I've found some sort of rhythm with Dad being here for a couple of weeks.

Because my brain won't shut up...

The "stat crunch" desperately needed in #LOTRO, FFXIV did some time ago.

It makes all actual numbers go down (for players and enemies) but shouldn't make any difference in combat.

By reducing numbers, the databases shrink, making them quicker/easier to run. And stops numbers from looking stupid, to be fair!

The Houses of Healing in Minas Tirith have magical disappearing benches!

I intend on doing it on a bench an NPC is on tomorrow to see if they still levitate in position or not...
