Late #JazzSunday this week. I've been working and cooking and watching sports all day. Some wouldn't consider this jazz. I would disagree with them. While Steely Dan may not technically be jazz, it certainly was at least half jazz. On The Nightfly, Donald Fagan went way past halfway and created a classic that sounds as good today as when it was released. This was the first album I owned on cassette. When I bought my first CDs I got it then as an homage. It wasn't until much later that I got it on vinyl. #jazz
Woke up at 11:00 am unexpectedly, which was an issue because I was meeting a friend and then heading to the Punk Rock Flea Market in Asheville. Fortunately I was able to get ready quickly and the day was pretty fun. And I picked up this at the market for #JazzSunday#jazz#CharlieParker
