I'll start off my first -real- post with, well, me!
This is the third ref sheet I've gotten for myself, back in 2020 and made by Isvoc over at http://isvoc-art.com/. The previous one lasted 6 years, and really the only reason I got the new one was to clarify a few things; that and Isvoc was one of my first choices originally so I did it now that i could!
Overall I guess you could say my look dates back to at least 2006, with just tweaks where necessary.
For today's art share, I think I'll go with this piece by Zephra(https://artbyzephra.com/). It was inspired by my having hit 40, and looking back as milestone ages tend to make you do. Plus there is the symbolism of straddling the transition from an older, more magical land to a more modern #SciFi landscape.
"The future is all around us, waiting in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future, or where it will take us."
The duality of dragon! Yesterday was a fairly serious piece, but today's is an amusing little image of myself homphing my tail in snep fashion. It's not just for snow leopards!
This was one of two images from a Korean artist who went by kmdrgg. (It looks like they closed down their FA page, and I don't know if they have a presence anywhere else.) This one wasn't my initial choice, but it stuck with me so much I had to have it done too.
Well while I ponder the other matter I posted earlier, I think I'll share what I've got decorating my tablet currently.
Both of these came from Fefairy(https://www.furaffinity.net/user/fefairy) a long while back. The one of me flying was a raffle prize, but after using it as a wallpaper for a bit on my previous tablet, I wanted a matching lockscreen, thus the other pic.
For a #cyberpunk Saturday, I don't have much left I haven't already posted, but I do have this piece by kmdrgg, same person that did my homph earlier(and seems to have disappeared).
I was wanting something in a similar style to the Dragon Village franchise(as I was heavily into it at the time) and I wanted to indulge my love for cyberpunk aesthetic, so I had them thrown together for this scenic view. Antigrav wings ftw.
Last #cyberpunk Saturday for now, since I only have one image left I haven't shared with that sort of theme, though it also leans more to just the urban aesthetic.
Just taking a 3am night walk, and it was fairly quiet that night it seems. Of course no one wants to mess with a #dragon...
Since I can't think of any witty themes for Monday, now's probably a good time to show off my badges! I only got to use the oldest one a couple times, and haven't been to a con since.
This was probably my first picture as a #dragon. I was still paying down loans and didn't have a permanent job at the time so I didn't have money to commission, but an artist going by VampirePrincess007 was taking free requests on the FA forums, and I made the list. All I had for referance was the avatar I had built up in Second Life, but it was enough.
Is this the furry equivalent of sharing your baby pics?
While I don't have anything Christmassy, I do have something I suppose is a fit for today.
This was part of a "Secret Santa" exchange a good 13 years ago. While some things were still being figured out on my end, this was the best one I had gotten up to that point.
This old piece by Aaros(https://www.furaffinity.net/user/aaros) is still impressive even now. It still pretty much nails nearly everything about me, even if my white is a bit more off-white these days.
