We're very pleased to see that the orders for Sam's Journey on the NES are pretty evenly split between NTSC and PAL so far. It looks like Sam found fans on both sides of the ocean! 🤩
Lawn Mower is a homebrew game for the NES from 2011. The premise is very simple: mow the whole lawn while picking up petrol cans to avoid running out of fuel. Running over the flowers increases fuel consumption. ⛽️
It's actually quite fun, although frustrating at times.
Today the black cat brought me a brand new Nintendo Super Famicom wireless controller, sent by my secret agent in Hyōgo. I’ll be using it rather than the 8bitdo sn30 pro, which will now be dedicated to emulator duty.
Here it is next to a Nintendo Famicom/nes dogbone (wireless 8bitdo diy board equipped), & the revised controller that shipped with snes/Famicom jr systems.
EDIT: these are now sold. Thanks all for boosting!
Hi friends! I have a couple of Dragon Quest games for Famicom, which I got in a job lot, and aren't really much use to me. I stuck them on eBay but there's been no activity on the listing. As such, if you want these, you can have them for the price of shipping from the UK.
Bought these at the local hobby recycle shop today. Star Wars although licensed is delightfully non-cannon, and this copy of Sqoon was < ½ the price & better condition than the copy I’ve been eyeing there for months.
It’s a shame that games don’t have leds anymore. 👹
