Emisar DW4 - a headlamp is required, and I love the light the dedomed 5700K 519As produce (it's about 4200K and a little rosy)
Zebralight SC64c LE - this remains my favorite EDC light, though I suspect its days are numbered by the impending release of the SC65c HI
Acebeam L16 - need something throwy
Skilhunt M150 - I almost didn't bring this because I can't charge 14500s in my Xtar PB2S, but it has magnetic charging and I have some USB-C 14500s from Acebeam. I've actually used this the most.
In the middle of reviewing a portable battery I was sent capable of up to 100 watts! 20,000 mAh currently recharging my work laptop from near dead. It runs a little warm but well. I’ll have the full review on my #tiktok and try and also put it on #peertube at @chiefgyk3d and talk about it a bit on #twitch for my portable soldering iron #laptop#battery#everydaycarry#review#techreview#android#iphone
This is not my entire collection of flashlights, just the ones that made the short list for my upcoming trip to Colorado and Arizona, which will involve some time outdoors.
#EverydayCarry ( #EDC for the cool kids) is a big deal on dude-oriented corners of the web. Usually it includes some tacticool pocket knife or fancy Zippo lighter.
It may be less macho, but my EDC is this “Indian worry stone,” bought at a Native American cultural event 30 years ago. It’s smaller and quieter than a fidget spinner, and carrying it means I’m always prepared…for anxiety!
