TomMarcinko, 3 months ago to kindle Having a hard time on #Kobo with certain #HarperCollins titles adapted for ebook by #EarlyBirdBooks They try to send me to the net to get a free book but it won't let me read the book I just bought to try to open. (Two by Stanislaw Lem, oddly enough. It used to be PDK) I guess I should reluctantly stop buying new books on Kobo. I never had this problem with #Kindle and Kobo does not seem interested in trying to solve it other than giving me a refund.

TomMarcinko, 3 months ago #Kobo just told me whoops we apologize; the book we sold you is not compatible with the e-reader we sold you. That is just the way life is. I’ll just have to take my chances. They are not even offering me a refund for the books, let alone a replacement reader or an explanation of why this is an acceptable situation. They have my money now, and I’m a sucker. I wonder why #HarperCollins and #EarlyBirdBooks are allowing this to happen.
