Who the fsck is David McBrayer? While looking for a second source to back up a story about Jay-Z pushing school vouchers with right-wing billionaire Jeffrey Yass, I found the original story, posted Friday by Jessica Corbett at CommonDreams.org, was reposted verbatim today at @RawStory by this McBrayer guy.

Corbett posted her story under a #CreativeCommons license, but it was CC-BY-SA, meaning her credit should not have been stripped.

#WritersCoffeeClub 6/6 Have you queried agents for traditional publishing? How did it go?

Nope, never. For one thing, my books are in a rather obscure niche which likely doesn't fit well into the publishing schemes of publishing houses.

But more importantly, publishers usually insist on pesky things like "exclusive rights", which runs counter to my intention of releasing all my translations under a #CreativeCommons Zero license.
