Now! The workday is done, I'm home, the household chores have been... chored... and now I can finally add something nice (I hope) to #TuneTuesday.
@Kitty, in cooperation with @satsuma, have provided us with the prompt #BigRockEnding (as in: songs ending with a big climax).. and although the following is climactic and epic pretty much the whole way through I think it fits. Plus I love it ->
#TuneTuesday this week is #BigRockEnding , which sounds like an excellent excuse for me to post one of my all-time favorite music videos, "Knights of Cydonia" by Muse! Not their most popular song, but my favorite by miles. And what a build!
It's #TuneTuesday this time with #BigRockEnding This is kind of a hard choice, cause I could just use a sog from the Guilty Gear Strive OST but I did that often enough, so why not use my favorite Imagine Dragons Song "Hopeless Opus". It might not be the best song for this category, but the ending of that song is still pretty good. Here the Youtube Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91rrbNAJqQ8
For this, I chose a track from Ne Obliviscaris, which is divided into three movements. Its third movement in particular, "Curator", closes with an epic, dramatic climax
A Day in the Life by the Beatles starts out as a jaunty little song about getting out of bed, takes a hard turn into psychedelia and then ends with a symphony orchestra turned up to 11 capped with the longest sustained piano chord I’ve ever heard. Absolutely amazing!
