I wrote a brief blog post about the Oakland A's move to Vegas. It's the end of me caring about professional sports. Oakland is and was a great sports town that had owners that didn't deserve it.
The #reverseboycott didn't make sense to me, but when it happened it was electric and incredible. I am so happy it happened. It felt like one last hurrah.
As for Rob Manfred and John Fisher, I wish them great pain and that they die mad.

Today is A's fan reverse boycott day! Fans will be packing the stadium to show that #Oakland loves their A's, just not their ownership. They will be wearing green 'SELL' t-shirts, and fans at other stadiums will hopefully also be wearing them in solidarity. i'm fully ready for robot umps in #baseball, but only if it also includes a total ban on humans. currently baseball is too damn slow & it's losing its audience. can obviously only be fixed with android players, cyborg fans, & complete overhaul so every game only exists as a simulation for re-processing by AIs. that way, old-fashioned yokels can also listen to baseball without designated hitters, pitch clocks, ghost runners, etc. & they'll stop bitching. fair for everybody.
