It's been a VERY very busy week for me and while I still think I need to use @forscore on an actual device before I'd be comfortable releasing a version and committing to ongoing support, I am hoping to get a TestFlight build out tomorrow for anyone who wants to try it.

The 50c Core Technology Fee by itself doesn't sound that unreasonable.
Maybe what we need is another option of less core technology access with lower fees. Or just pay the actual usage of app binary storage, network, notarization, and other low level system things.

Yet critics say those changes, although drastic, do not go far enough to comply with new EU rules, and a new fee system for developers reveals how Apple is not yet ready to release its grip on the App Store.

Is there anything like a roundup or list of #iPad apps that can search handwriting? I want to try handwriting more but not if I can't search it. I wish this was a feature I could filter in the #AppStore.
However, this is still just another corporate pissing match between two giant companies that don't want to agree on who gets how much of the cake
No matter how much Sweeney is banging on about consumer rights, in the end he's only interested in keeping ALL the money from #Fortnite game sales and IAPs on #iOS for himself. Even if they could get rid of all #Apple#AppStore fees, #EpicGames will certainly not lower their prices by 30% because they're shaming Apple into implementing the #EU's #DigitalMarketsAct
It's clear #Apple doesn't want openness, alternatives and choice for their customers.
Even developers of free apps have to pay 50ct per installation per year if they reach more than 1 million installs and are distributed via an alternative app store. This is just insane 🤯
