In the meantime, I’ve bought some #SNES style USB pads and a case for the #RaspberryPi 4 #RetroPie. No expectations, because they were cheap AF…🤡 It just didn’t feel right playing those classics on a modern #XBox pad and I have just one…🤷🏻♂️ I want to share the sentiment with my wife and the kids…🥰
I run two instances of #AdGuardHome so for High Availability purposes and the DHCP server assigns both IPs to all clients. Unfortunately I often forget about the backup so it doesn't always have the latest filters and settings. I know there are some tools to sync the configs, but you can't sync the stats.
The clients also behave in their own way, holding on the secondary for a long time. Oddly the secondary server seems to have been handling the most traffic over the past 90 days
I knew #Plex sends a lot of analytics from me to their servers, but I was not expecting analytics.plex.tv to be number one in the list of blocked requests.
Another surprise was 287 (for now) requests blocked to logs.netfix.com. Why it's a surprise? We are not using #Netflix. I have it pre-installed on my TV but not even logged in there. That's some crazy shit.

I originally set the new one up as an agent connected to the old one thinking there would be a way to change an agent into a standalone server but there isn't
So the 5 stacks I'd re-created on the agent (and moved their data etc) had to be re-done!
Just a quick thought: #PiHole next to #HomeAssistant on the same Raspberry Pi 4 or should I get a second one for this?
Home Assistant is directly flashed as Home Assistant OS. So is this even possible? And if I get a new Pi, which one would the best option to just run PiHole?
If I go the route with multiple Pis, I would like to have a machine that does one thing and no plans to do more than that one thing.

Seems like it works instantly. Will finetune it a bit. The Raspberry Pi 4 seems still bored so this seemingly can easily work in Home Assistant, without any performance concerns.

Voy a remplazar un Qnap de 2 discos por un sistema armado con 4 discos. Ya tengo el gabinete, fuente de poder, procesador, RAM, SSD (Reciclada de la que cambié en el laptop) y los discos duros los reutilizo del Qnap. Solo falta que me llegue la placa madre.
Voy a utilizar TrueNAS SCALE como sistema operativo.

Des pros de #adguardhome ici ? C'est installé dans un container #LXC et quand mon conteneur redémarre (migration ou crash ou reboot planifié) le service systemd bien qu'enabled, refuse de démarrer.
Parfois je dois lancer un systemctl start AdGuardHome et attendre plusieurs dizaines de secondes voir minutes avant qu'il ne démarre correctement.
Parfois je dois ctrl+c et relancer la commande pour qu'il daigne démarrer automatiquement
