just made this screenshot from #ArkSurvivalAscended (the Unreal 5 update) into my desktop...the graphics are alright I guess (if you have a super computer...and even still have to turn a bunch of the effects off)
been trying to play #ArkSurvivalAscended with my husband but the temperature is just way too extreme. I have masterwork desert armor yet I'm constantly either freezing or boiling alive inside my fully sealed stone house. god forbid I ever step outside. Many, many other forum posts complaining about the insane temperature differences, but of course wildcard has no interest in fixing obvious game-breaking bugs.
Firstly, lets note its obvious sauropod style body, long upright neck, medium length tail, four pillar like legs, but with a relatively oversized head. The head is obviously because of the art style.
@TheDinosaurDave : considering a solid 75%* of the #ARKSurvivalAscended playerbase has shifted some or all its playtime to Palworld, I think you're onto something !

Seeing that I'm in a dinosaury kind of mood lately (...even more than usual, I mean) but also an #ARKSurvivalEvolved kind of mood, I'm starting a thread about creature submissions. I've been talking about it on Twitter, in particular within my #ARK2/#ARKAnimatedSeries/#ARKSurvivalAscended thread, but I have none of that here for just looking at the dinos people submit and gawking at them.

@dgar : mods are huge in the Ark community, there's a sponsored mod program through which the devs fund some mods, other mods (mostly maps) have become part of the game, some mod devs were hired by the studio... Right now it's for PC players, but later this year WildCard should release a remaster called #ARKSurvivalAscended which will allow for mods on ANY platform, and that's just going to be insanely interesting to watch happen.

@dgar : yeah, #ARKSurvivalAscended is how they're calling the UE5 remaster. It's going to be very interesting because with that version all platforms should be able to play together in the future.
If you play #ARKSurvivalEvolved and/or intend to play #ARKSurvivalAscended, maybe you'll want to take part in the vote for the next Aberration creature.
