Ketika masih SD/SMP, saya ingat pernah membaca buku berbahasa Indonesia tentang perang di daerah Kalimantan Timur. Malang saat itu kondisi buku sudah hampir hancur, dan saya sekarang sudah tidak ingat judulnya.
Sekarang, mencari referensi bahasa Indonesia tentang Pertempuran Balikpapan (baik tahun 1942 maupun 1945) ternyata (masih) sulit -- banyak yang berupa daur ulang dari situs-situs lain.
Saya rasa anak muda sekarang sulit untuk percaya juga ada peristiwa Lautan Api di Balikpapan. 😔

Namun setelah menelurusi arsip-arsip di NARA (National Archives and Records Administration), saya gagal menemukan foto maupun jenis lisensinya (sepertinya sih publik) -- tapi entah mengapa foto dan deskripsinya sudah ada di situs pihak ketiga.
Jika ada yang tertarik membantu mencari lisensi foto-foto ini, ada info tambahan di setiap deskripsi gambar.

Viewing this photo on my MacBook Air screen is like magic — the fluorescent green captured absolutely perfectly by my iPhone and it honestly seems to jump right off the P3 screen.
If I open it in Photoshop, the magic is immediately gone (color profiles?). So the question is, will it post to Mastodon with the magic intact?
@cabel Grabbing a random sample with Sindre Sorhus's System Color Picker gives me oklch(80% 86% 146deg), and plugging that into oklch.com gives me a color that is apparently outside of P3.
I can only assume the picker is grabbing the actual underlying value of the pixels, and not what the monitor is displaying as a fallback.
