Geht es euch auch so, dass wenn ihr euch heute Serien anschaut, die ihr in euren jungen Jahren absolut genial fandet, heute fragt, wie man sich damals so einen Müll ansehen konnte?
@tezoatlipoca 30 hour, surely you're--oh, wow, it is.
I'm only 15 minutes in but yeah it's not quite Squid Game production quality but at that length holy shit.
I'll at least give it an episode or two, not sure I want to read subtitles all day today
@timrichards we watch a lot of SBS OnDemand and very little iView. Am using a Pi-hole to remove most ads from OnDemand, making it a much better viewing experience.
We're not still buying DVDs, but we have kept our collection of a couple of hundred titles just in case we ever need to take a break from streaming services to save money. And I'm currently watching season 2 of Doctor Who because it isn't on any streaming services I subscribe to.
DVDs, Blu-ray revival: Why physical media is making a comeback
Tonight is the one-hour series finale of #YoungSheldon
Not only is the season cut short, 13 (really 14 episodes), but most of it has been building the new spin-off about Georgie, Mandy & McCallisters
Three's Company did this with Jack's soon to be wife & it bombed
MeeMaw & Missy haven't signed on to the spin-off
I feel like they really cheated us because we learned about them in YS and now their futures will be pretty much a mystery, except for what filler they do in the spin-off #TV
2/ There were some touching moments in the finale. Mary turned fanatical religious zealot; Sheldon even got baptized to comfort her but in full scuba outfit.
Missy was angry at everyone, and Georgie stepped up and took over as head of household, even arguing over casket price.
Sheldon was Sheldon, working in his Star Trek imagination to deal with it.
They turned MeeMaw into a drunk, from George's death onward through TBBT, a drunk. How could they do that? #YoungSheldon
