Are those ripples or dunes in the middle of the photo? There ought to be some trees to give a sense of scale! 🙃 😃

IANAG, but those things are gigantic, almost 200m long and 30+m wide, 5-6m high.

The other interesting feature is that bright area partially visible on center right behind the hillside, in the picture above.

The thing that looks like a giant helicopter landing pad? Curious circular shape! And another arc in the white area upper left, too.

The "helipad" is on upper left in the second map; about half a kilometer in diameter. Looks like exposed bedrock, maybe similar to Bright Angel but at a higher elevation.
