@aeva You and me... people seems so bent to make this world worse, they cannot help themselves.
I would like to shake some sense into them. At work, I am kinda the AI grinch, pouring reality every time I heard about the next exciting AI tool the company should adopt.
@rticks@aeva agree with bitcoin epics: i mean technology was published accessible to public use, and all actors jump to use it for profit and for regulate it, but blockchain is not about regulating and profit, heh
Block chain is a good idea and sovereign digital currencies are using it. We learned a lot about chemistry via alchemy and tries to turn lead into gold but no one takes it seriously anymore
Elon Musk roved Capitalism is a failure but we havent realigned yet because the elite think somehow the Committee For Public Safety went away just like pets.com and the .com bubble proves there are no bubbles ..
Oh wait ...

Continue your idea about alchemy - also it influence us a metaphor. I mean the Alchemist book, you know.
Same with blockchain, metaphor of how our system can be - with blocks as a main timeline without corruption. Capitalism also not only about capital as we know. The system also.
And in this mood - AI as idea of learning the machine(system, "karma") turning into the failure of capitalism maybe, but not this technology.
@aeva At first it was in a "can't stop the progress something something people complained about tractor too" kinda mood, but the situation has gotten increasingly dreadful over the past year and has really changed my perception about these tools.
Doesn't matter if the tech is actually useful or not (FWIW, I believe it can be), what matters is that they're going to use it wrong, and it will do more harm than good. So I kinda wish all this went away too now 😔
