MIL and I "arguing" about wife's return last nite for a good 15 mins. Ifs, buts, stupid stuff. I thot wife was coming home that nite. MIL thot diff. Finally I asked her why she was so insistant (bc I had my reasons too). She answered, because it's on the schedule. Well, if you fucking knew that, why didn't you just point it out? I retorted. Because I thought you knew. Was I talking like I did? FFS, don't let me go on being wrong!
Japanese thought process is beyond me. Too much assumption.
