@fraying The most amazing thing about this is how multiple so-called journalists manage to dredge a 5 page article out of an unpunctuated, ungrammatical one-liner from Dorsey, like they're the god damned Oracle at Delphi, huffing those potent Twitter fumes. The way they take the sound of some rich dude's farts and inflate them into a manifesto is insane.
I guess they have practice with this from cleaning up Trump transcripts and trying to make his glossolalia sound statesman-like or even human.
@lor I know, right? I was gobsmacked - and still am - by people who jumped ship when Musk bought Twitter and went straight to bsky BECAUSE Jack was involved. I mean - WUT?
It's like amnesia overtook everyone about the problems there were before Musk turned it into an absolute garbage fire.
@mivox@Axomamma@lor Yes as suggested by others as well and would agree switching would be better. Several weeks ago tried to go through several instances on the first page but they are mostly filled with them so gave up. Also sucks to lose everything. I've started filter them but that's starting to be lots of work
@okpierre I’m not sure what the best alternate way to find a new home would be, unless you notice a lot of accounts you like are from one particular place… :blobcatshrug:
@okpierre Yeah, if you start a new account the old one should just sit there until you delete it… unless .social has an idle account deletion policy, but then you just have to make a post every so often to get around it.
