New US airline rules:

  • Airlines MUST give a refund for canceled or significantly changed flights
  • Includes 3h domestic delay, 6h int'l delay, different airport routing, downgraded seats, loss of disability accessibility
  • Refund must be automatic, prompt, and for the full amount of unused ticket
  • Starts this fall

@davemark immediately considering the wiggle room and exceptions that will try to be shoehorned in (just doing it would save time and money, but some passengers might be ‘okay’ or even prefer re-routing delay seat downgrade etc.
