@arstechnica For my previous observation, any consolidation will result in a reduce workforce. Which means as soon as they merge they’re going to start doing layoffs. As soon as they do layoffs, they’re going to start saying that we need to cross pollinate work duties.

@arstechnica In other words, we need to make sure our #surveillance and #enshittification are standardized across Alphabet/Google!

@arstechnica great, so now we have web control and ads control in one package, with features not available on other platforms other than Google phones, even though they made Android open to everyone
