I find it ironic that a "moral christian" could justify the state sponsored bullying and death of a non-binary high school student as a means of "keeping filth out of the state" when it is they who are immoral filth, promulgating violence and hatred against children.
This horrible man's words and behavior are evil. There is no other word for it.
I mean, this horrible man's response is shocking but not shocking.
It reminds me of the horrible bigotry I saw coming from people in my family and hometown: a casual devaluing of people's lives when they fell outside of what their reactionary culture considered to be "normal" and fully human.
There was a widespread acceptance that violence and abject suffering were a well deserved "punishment" for daring to stray outside the group's notions of "normal" and fully human.
