I'm on call for another 10 hours at my day job, and so far I've been working most of the weekend. The really frustrating part is none of the issues we've experienced this weekend have been with my systems, but with systems that I interact with. We have a TON of monitoring on our tools, and it appears that our monitoring is far in excess of the monitoring done by other departments. I shouldn't be the one telling other groups their stuff is down.
@mike that's what I keep telling others also. I'd be happy to adjust contact groups and notification settings for them, but I'm not babysitting their stuff if they can't be bothered.
